What is Lay Distribution?

We get your music into the stores and streaming services and collect what it earns there. Your music stays yours.

Free, Pro or Partner: which one fits me?

Free costs nothing, and you keep about 60 percent of what your music earns. Pro is coming soon, and Partner is for labels and managers who talk to us first.

When do I get paid?

Once a store pays us, your share lands in your Lay Credit Account in US dollars. From $20 you can cash out, and we pay out through PayPal once a month.

How long until my release is live?

Every store checks your release and moves at its own pace, so we can’t promise a date. Upload early and leave a buffer before release day.

Can I leave Lay?

Yes. Cancel in your Dashboard or by email, and we have the stores take your releases down. You still get paid for what they earned before that.
